After the multiple challenges I've been taking on, it's a nice change to have a simple commission. The jacket is based off a pattern for a Nehru jacket. The only alteration is cutting out the belly- and lower-back-bearing triangles. Another challenge was altering a jacket zipper, which was way too long for the jacket's shortened front. The normal procedure for shortening zippers on the bottom end worked like a charm. (Stitching around the zipper very tightly and cutting to the length needed.) I just did the same for the top!
